EUROPEAN ERASMUS+ PROGRAMS
THE EUROPEAN ERASMUS+ PROGRAMS OPEN UP PROSPECTS FOR COOPERATION AND COMMUNICATION AND PUT A COMMON COURSE WITH TEACHERS AND STUDENTS FROM OTHER SCHOOLS ABROAD.
The approved ERASMUS+ educational programs implemented at the 3rd High School of Heraklion, Crete, enable participating teachers to start innovative collaborations with teachers from other European schools and to exchange ideas and good practices through long-term and continuous cooperation.
The European ERASMUS+ program offers prospects for flexible and creative cooperation and strengthens the European dimension in education. The knowledge built through cooperation at a transnational level is adapted to the needs of the school’s students and is channeled to a learning level, enriching school life.
An important parameter of ERASMUS+ is the exchange of cultural elements that arises during the participation of students and teachers in each mobility abroad. Each educational visit of students abroad constitutes a unique learning experience, has added value and a cultural dimension. Each working meeting constitutes an acquaintance with different cultures and civilizations.
By participating in the European program ERASMUS+, you learn to coexist with valuable partners, to balance, create and evolve. You are inspired and chart common paths on different stimuli that balance harmoniously and creatively.
Therefore, within the framework of the European ERASMUS+ programs, 29 teacher training mobilities and 69 student mobilities of our school abroad had been implemented by the end of 2023. Our school has also been awarded ERASMUS accreditation from February 2022 to December 2027. Therefore, we continue creatively because “creating is like living twice!”
